Stages
Pre-Meltdown
Pre-Meltdown occurs when the Reactor Core goes above 3000*C. At this point, the reactor's shield integrity will begin to drop. Several alarms will start playing, with a message from the player's self-conscious saying "I should cool the reactor." Once the shield integrity reaches 10%, the monitoring screen on the right says "Shield Integrity Compromised; Restabilize Immediately". At the same time, an alarm starts playing. The screen shakes, and then the lights turn yellow. Meltdown Inbound by Syashikunda plays. Once the shield integrity reaches 0%, the screen shakes once again before the shield explodes.
Meltdown Phase 1
After the shield detonates, the stabilization lasers fail along with the reactor monitoring system. A message from the player's self-conscious appears, saying "I feel faster." Shortly afterwards, facility management issues a code red. This allows players to shutdown the reactor. Players are given 4 minutes to do so. Phase one is somewhat uneventful, just mostly people panicking and trying to shutdown the reactor. Around the 1-minute mark, the reactor control room is flooded with smoke.
Meltdown Phase 2
Phase 2 of the meltdown begins after the shutdown timer expires, or the shutdown fails. The temperature will begin skyrocketing. When this happens, the bunker door opens, allowing players to enter it and survive. (All bunker systems must be nominal to survive) A pipe bursts in the core control room, and coolant begins leaking. Around the 3-minute mark to detonation, the reactor explosion timer fails. Shortly afterwards, the facility is set to self-destruct in 2 minutes. The reactor control room door shuts at around the same time. If all bunker systems are active at the 60-second mark, the bunker door will shut at 50 seconds. Leaving the bunker doors closed. Who ever did not succeed into getting into the bunker blows up.
Endings
Meltdown
The meltdown ending is obtained by not going into the bunker during the meltdown and dying with the facility.
Bunker
The bunker ending is obtained by successfully activating the bunker's systems and entering before the door shuts. If done properly, the bunker door will close at the 60-second mark and all players inside the bunker will survive when detonation occurs. Once the facility regenerates, the bunker door opens, allowing players to exit. It then closes shortly after.
