Shutdown Success
This ending is obtained by successfully shutting down reactor, while meltdown is appearing. You are required to press 6 emergency buttons in different locations, before shutdown system becomes available. To open emergency functions you need to press 3 of them. Chance of getting a successful shutdown is being increased by 2 factors, first one are keys, that are obtainable in three locations, two in the lobby and one at the coolant valves. Second factor is core temperature, which lower temperature is higher percentage, and higher temperature is lower percentage. See below for both the locations of the shutdown keys, and the engineer card.
Laser Termination Key Locations
There are 4 3 different key locations, all keys must be collected, inserted, and turned to increase shutdown chances.
- Key 1
When going up the ladder into Reactor Observation, turn to the right, and the key should be on top of the couch cushion.
- Key 2
When entering the Server Room, turn left, and next to the plant there is a shutdown key.
- Key 3
In the Cafeteria, on the far left of the food serving platform is a shutdown key.
- Key 4

Engineer Card Locations
There are 16 different possible locations for the shutdown card to spawn at, and only one will be spawned at once.
Reactor Observation
- Card 1
When entering Reactor Observation, turn backwards, then slightly left, the card should be next to the couch.
- Card 2
When entering Reactor Observation, slightly turn right, and there should be a shutdown card on the table.
Reactor Admin
- Card 3
Inside the trash bin in the far right corner of Reactor Admin, should be a shutdown card.
- Card 4
Next to the radio in Reactor Admin, should be a shutdown card.
Spawn Area
- Card 5
On the table with the bucket, there should be a shutdown card.
- Card 6
Near the ventilation control buttons, on the floor, should be a shutdown card.
- Card 7
Under the table holding the radio in the spawn area, should be a shutdown card.
Server Room
- Card 8
Next to Flatpacked Juusto™, there should be a shutdown card on the table.
- Card 9
Under E-Coolant Valve #2, there should be a shutdown card to the right.
Emergency Bunker
- Card 10
Near the entrance of the bunker, under the button, there should be a shutdown card.
- Card 11
On the table inside the secondary bunker room, there should be a shutdown card.
- Card 12
On top of the box on the storage crate named "First Aid Kits", there should be a shutdown card.
Cafeteria
- Card 13
In the Cafeteria, on the far left of the food serving platform, there should be a shutdown card.
- Card 14
On the direct opposite side of the food serving platform, where robert is standing, there should be a shutdown card.
Coolant Station
- Card 15
On top of the railing, next to E-Coolant Valve #3, there should be a shutdown card.
- Card 16
On the opposite side of the room, on the floor near the railing, there should be a shutdown card.
